The Biomedical Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and calibration of critical biomedical equipment.

Core Duties Include:

  • Managing daily operations and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to foster positive relationships and effective communication.
  • Leading a team of technicians and providing guidance on technical issues.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on biomedical instruments.
Performance Metrics:

The success of the Biomedical Operations Supervisor will be measured by:

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s degree in Biomedical Engineering is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical engineering environment, with leadership exposure.
  • Technical certifications such as A+, CBET, CRES, CLES, or CCE are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and familiarity with CMMS systems.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to perform basic financial analysis and manage budgets.
