About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Ahluwalia Logistics Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on logistics operations, including inventory levels, transportation costs, and delivery schedules.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Arrange for transportation and logistics services, including scheduling and coordinating with carriers, drivers, and other stakeholders.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of logistics staff, including warehouse workers, drivers, and administrative assistants.
  • Problem-Solving and Quality Control
    • Identify and resolve operational issues, including damage, loss, or delay of goods, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize logistics operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a logistics or supply chain role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
