Position Overview

The Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the production environment. This role is essential in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within food and beverage processing
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company guidelines.
  • Compile and analyze production reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Propose strategies to enhance productivity and elevate product quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Develop methods to adhere to production schedules and synchronize tasks with other departments.
  • Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and oversee the safety of production operations.
  • Monitor production quality and output levels to meet established standards.
Community Support Initiatives

This position involves participation in community programs aimed at supporting newcomers, refugees, and Indigenous peoples. Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in initiatives that assist newcomers and refugees with their immediate settlement needs.
  • Facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills development.
  • Providing cultural competency training to foster an inclusive workplace for Indigenous workers.
  • Connecting Indigenous employees with Elders for guidance and support.
