We are a dynamic organization seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Warehouse Generalist to contribute to our success.

Role Overview: The Warehouse Generalist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and precise handling of products within the warehouse, adhering to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture where Health & Safety is prioritized, complying with all regulatory and company safety standards.
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory effectively.
  • Accurately locate, pick, load, and dispatch outgoing products.
  • Operate all equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, shrink wrap machines) following procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Notify management regarding any required equipment maintenance.
  • Report any building issues, including racking, lighting, and flooring concerns.
  • Maintain product integrity by ensuring proper storage temperatures and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Clean the dock, warehouse floors, and inspection areas in accordance with HACCP standards.
  • Ensure clear aisles for safe navigation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in alignment with the company’s vision and mission.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience is not mandatory, but relevant warehousing experience is advantageous. Training will be provided.
  • Ability to follow directions, learn quickly, communicate effectively, and collaborate as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in temperatures as low as -25 Celsius.
  • Competence in reading and counting accurately, performing basic math, and writing legibly.
  • Basic knowledge of RF and/or voice pick WMS is preferred.
  • Capability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
