Cost Controller

At CO_65 Bird Industrial Management Services Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller to join our team. As a Cost Controller, you will play a critical role in managing the cost control system for our projects, ensuring that costs are accurately tracked and reported.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost estimates.
- Monitor and update cost estimates to ensure costs are within expected ranges.
- Create and manage work orders and purchase orders for project overheads.
- Effectively manage invoices and timesheets to ensure accurate forecasting.
- Manage a transparent process of allocating project costs to capital projects.
- Provide guidance and support to the cost control support role.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting of labor costs.
- Certified cost professional through AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) or working towards certification.
- Post-secondary education in a related field, and/or relevant combination of experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional forecasting abilities.
- Expertise in Project Management Systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of other MS Office software.
- Understanding of project management.
- Ability to forge, grow, and maintain positive relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
