Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Information Technology Specialist to support our clients in Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.
- Monitor and ensure the security, performance, and reliability of IT systems.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in planning and executing IT projects, including system upgrades and installations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to support system integration and application development.
- Manage data backups and disaster recovery processes.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an IT role, with a focus on system administration, network management, or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security protocols.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and networking technologies.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Specialist) are a plus.
