Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Maple Dips Incorporated. As a key member of our café team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee shop, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation and service staff
  • Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports to management
Work Environment

Our coffee shop is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring a high level of flexibility and adaptability. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work under pressure to ensure the smooth operation of the café, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
