Position Overview

Choice Furniture Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Custom Wood Furniture Maker to join our team. This role involves the creation and restoration of high-quality wooden furniture pieces.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in woodworking.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret plans, specifications, or drawings to craft wooden articles.
  • Assemble components and subassemblies to create complete furniture units, ensuring strong and durable joints.
  • Smooth wooden surfaces and apply finishes such as veneer, stain, or polish to enhance the final product; prepare and apply laminated plastics as needed.
  • Finish products with varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to achieve a professional appearance.
  • Repair or redesign wooden furniture, fixtures, and related items to meet customer needs.
Work Environment
