Job Description

SK Basra Furniture LTD is seeking a skilled Wood Furniture Craftsman to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom wood furniture.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Planning: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Woodworking: Trim joints, fit parts and subassemblies together, and reinforce joints to create a strong and durable product.
  • Finishing: Sand wooden surfaces, apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, and prepare and apply laminated plastics.
  • Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers, ensuring they meet production standards and deadlines.
  • Estimation: Estimate costs and materials, optimizing production efficiency and minimizing waste.
  • Repair and Restyling: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products, meeting customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in woodworking or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
