Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Developer to join our team at Keilhauer. As a Product Developer, you will play a key role in the technical development of our products, working closely with the Product Development Supervisor and the Product Development team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop basic 3D CAD files describing product components and assemblies
  • Produce engineering drawings and supplementary documentation
  • Verify the accuracy of models
  • Participate in design and development discussions
  • Liaise with Industrial Designers, as required
Requirements
  • 6 months' experience using Creo or similar 3D CAD software
  • Post-Secondary diploma, preferably in Mechanical Design and Drafting Technology or related field
  • Proficient in solid modeling
  • Knowledge of mechanical drafting and drawing standards
Working Conditions

This role is performed primarily in an office environment, with some functions conducted in the manufacturing facility and the prototype workshop. You will be exposed to dust particulates and noise, and will be required to work in a safe manner and use personal protective equipment, if required.

This position requires long periods of focused reading and typing, and you must be able to handle frequent interruptions to planned work activities. You will be required to respond and adapt quickly in a dynamic and changing environment, and to handle the stress of dealing with issues in a professional manner.
