Senior Project Manager - Track Engineering

Gannett Fleming is on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Project Manager specializing in Track Engineering to lead initiatives within the Canadian Rail and Transit industry. This position merges project oversight with technical expertise, collaborating with industry specialists to serve clients throughout North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client and Team Leadership: Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients and project teams.
  • Project Oversight: Direct the planning, design, and execution of project activities.
  • Technical Direction: Create detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates for construction.
  • Expert Guidance: Offer specialized insights and produce comprehensive reports.
  • Project Administration: Oversee all facets of project delivery.
  • Track Design Leadership: Spearhead design efforts for diverse transit systems.
  • Quality Management: Implement quality assurance and control measures.
  • Mentorship: Guide and develop junior engineering staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in track engineering.
  • Background in rail and transit projects.
  • Familiarity with local agency codes and standards.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Civil3D and/or Bentley OpenRail software.
  • Experience in design-build project environments.
