About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Maglicious. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of our food preparation and service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at all times.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, maintaining the reputation of Maglicious as a leader in the industry.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on food service operations, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our chefs, kitchen staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring that we are working together effectively to achieve our goals.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules for our food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
About You
  • Leadership Experience: You will have a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Education: You will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: You will be fluent in English, with excellent oral communication skills.
  • Work Environment: You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Physical Demands: You will be able to stand for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
