About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Interventionist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and coordination of clinical treatment programs for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

The Clinical Interventionist will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide a holistic, client-centered approach to care. This includes collaborating with community partners and organizations to ensure comprehensive support for children and their families.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Psychology and registration/licensure with the appropriate professional regulatory organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with children with behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly ASD.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to formulate and implement treatment plans to promote positive adaptive behaviors, independence, and skills development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for children with ASD
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and community partners
  • Provide supervision and leadership to team members
  • Ensure compliance with relevant acts, regulations, and standards
