Join Our Team as an Internal Control Analyst SOX, Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Control Analyst SOX, Finance to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility for integrating yourself into your department and role while developing trusting relationships with different stakeholders.
  • Identify areas of risk at different stages of financial information preparation and work with different teams to find creative, effective solutions to such risks.
  • Familiarize yourself with the requirements pertaining to Regulation to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and internal control documentation methods.
What You'll Do:
  • Identify, define, and evaluate existing internal controls in order to meet certification objectives.
  • Proactively identify issues presenting a risk to the certification of financial information.
  • Coordinate control testing in each of our divisions.
  • Support each division's financial information certification teams.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes with managers from the finance function and other functions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
  • Have or be in the process of obtaining an accounting certification.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Mandatory bilingualism, written and spoken (English/French).
  • Attention to detail; excellent analysis and synthesis skills.
  • Self-sufficiency and initiative.
  • Strong priority management and multitasking skills.
  • Passion and curiosity with respect to BRP products, customers, and markets.
