Job Title: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Wiseworth Canada Industries Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing responsive service to our customers, ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of industrial air compressors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers in the Edmonton region.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on compressed air equipment, including diagnostic inspections and troubleshooting.
  • Install and start-up new compressed air equipment, ensuring it meets operating and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying solutions to their compressed air needs and recommending system improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to obtain required parts and materials.
  • Adhere to safety standards and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education and/or related technical training and experience preferred.
  • Previous industrial air compressor service experience is an asset, but we will train suitable candidates.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with knowledge of AC/DC circuits, wiring diagrams/schematics, motors/controls, and PLCs.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI's in the previous 5 years.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites in the greater Edmonton region, with occasional travel to surrounding areas.
