Job Summary:

OPEX Corporation is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for visiting our clients to resolve technical issues with their equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mail opening, document scanning, and material handling equipment
  • Install and set up new equipment
  • Interact with clients to determine the root cause of technical issues
  • Complete field service reports and submit them to management
  • Communicate with clients and management to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Collaborate with other personnel to analyze and correct equipment performance issues

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds independently
  • Ability to maneuver job sites, including small spaces around equipment

Work Environment:

  • May work in office or warehouse environments
  • Extended commuting may be required
  • Must be able to lift heavy machine parts
  • Ability to maneuver job sites, including small spaces around equipment
  • Squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, and reaching forward may be required
