Dietary Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Caringpeople Healthcare Inc. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional food service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate dishwashers and maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment
- Restock condiments and supplies as needed
- Assist with food preparation and portioning
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
- Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
- Recruit and support newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities and organizations
- Provide cultural competency training and awareness to all employees
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service or kitchen environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
