Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Painter to work in our structural steel fabrication company. The successful candidate will be responsible for painting small items and applying touch-ups using paint brushes, selecting appropriate paint or mixing paints, and tending or operating equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings.
Responsibilities- Clean work area
- Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes
- Select appropriate paint or mix paints
- Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings
- Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat
- Load and unload vehicle
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- On-site work required
- Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and odour-filled environment
- Attention to detail and hand-eye co-ordination
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
The successful candidate will be required to work in a structural steel fabrication company, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work environment will be hot, noisy, and odour-filled.
