We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Roll-On Painting. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
- Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
- Estimate costs and materials.
- Select appropriate paint or mix paints.
- Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting or a related field.
- Permanent employment.
- 40 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
The ideal candidate will be physically demanding and able to work at heights. They will also be a team player with efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and reliability.
