Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and that they have a positive experience.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key metrics, as well as maintain accurate records of employee hours and attendance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail.
