Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at BC Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Work Schedules

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing work schedules for staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff

The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Train Staff

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that all staff are aware of their responsibilities.

Estimate Ingredients and Supplies

The successful candidate will estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that all necessary items are ordered in a timely manner.

Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for preparing budget and cost estimates, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.

Maintain Records

The successful candidate will maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.

Prepare Reports

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for preparing and submitting reports, ensuring that all necessary information is included.

Requirements

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
