Job Title: Regional Vice President Sales Canada

About the Role:

As a Regional Vice President Sales Canada, you will lead the strategic direction of the Commercial Sales Team and the Sales Operations organization in Canada. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute sales strategy and channel programs and business development actions to achieve goals and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the General Manager of Canada to create, implement, and execute an annual business plan, aligning with the Long Range Plan (LRP).
  • Drive the sales plan, manage costs, and oversee the territory budget to meet financial goals, working closely with Regional Sales Leaders and teams.
  • Support and develop strategic priorities and channel programs and initiatives in support of sales plans and budgets.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop sales teams using your sales and management background and experience.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers within the Canadian commercial marketplace.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional leaders in support of Allegion Commercial Sales objectives.
  • Perform performance management, talent review, employee development, talent acquisition, inclusion, and diversity, and employee engagement.
  • Maintain industry and territory knowledge by gathering market data on competitive activity and adapting to changes in the marketplace.
  • Provide comprehensive reports to the General Manager, Canada, on business results and actions supporting priorities.
  • Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Execute channel strategy, developing new channels for changing strategic needs.
  • Responsible for Commercial Canada Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
  • Support the use of the sales funnel process in CRM to track and capture both new construction and aftermarket opportunities to drive positive business results.
  • Ensure employee engagement in business initiatives, strategy, and overall direction through continuous communication with the team, hosting and presenting at team meetings.
  • Participate in internal product and program deployment teams.
  • Understand and provide guidance on competition.
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 75%.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Technical field preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience leading a high-performing sales team and setting sales targets.
  • Creating and developing value-added channel-based programs.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Results-oriented with proven ability to motivate team members with clear goals to achieve outcomes.
  • Demonstrate courage in leadership and be a champion of change.
  • Industry-specific experience required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel to the US.
  • Excellent strategic planning and communicating those plans.
  • Experience leading teams and working cross-functionally with marketing, product design, and operations.
  • Achievement-oriented, results-driven leadership.
