Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Seven Oaks General Hospital. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional practical nursing services to designated patients, including independent nursing services and administration of prescribed medical treatments.
  • Collaborate and interact with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Education program.
  • Certification in IV Therapy and IV Medication Administration.
  • Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM).
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent experience in the applicable clinical area.
  • Knowledge of College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Ability to prioritize care for an individual patient or group of patients.
  • Ability to delegate care appropriately and monitor outcomes of delegated care.
