About the Role: As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing professional practical nursing services to designated clients
  • Administering prescribed medical treatments
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to coordinate client care and discharge
  • Working independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years of recent related experience
  • Satisfactory employment record
  • Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Education program
  • Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training
  • Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license

Preferred Qualifications: We are looking for candidates with:

  • Knowledge of the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Knowledge of the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Code of Ethics for Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Knowledge of the Scope of practice as documented in the Licensed Practical Nurses Act
  • Knowledge of Regional/Facility/Unit policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines
