Job Overview

Partner Staffing is actively collaborating with a client in search of skilled and driven Transportation Engineering Specialists across various experience levels (Junior, Intermediate, Senior) to enhance their vibrant team. The selected individuals will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of transportation infrastructure initiatives, encompassing roads, highways, bridges, and transit systems. Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Assist in the formulation and evaluation of transportation engineering designs, schematics, and specifications.
  • Conduct field surveys, gather data, and perform analyses to support project advancement.
  • Prepare cost assessments, technical documentation, and project reports.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and other team members to achieve project goals.
  • Engage in the preparation and assessment of traffic studies, impact evaluations, and feasibility analyses.
  • Ensure adherence to local, provincial, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical assistance during construction phases, including site evaluations and resolving technical challenges.
  • Participate in public consultations and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of engineering practices and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification with ASET (Association of Science & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta).
  • Relevant experience in transportation engineering or a related field:
  • Junior Level: 0-3 years of experience.
  • Intermediate Level: 3-7 years of experience.
  • Senior Level: 7+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of transportation planning principles, traffic engineering, and geometric design standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
