We are in search of a dedicated Server for our Silvertip Resort in Canmore, Alberta. The ideal candidate will embody our core values: compassion, integrity, excellence, teamwork, and financial accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering an outstanding culinary experience to our guests and residents in alignment with our Service commitment, Service Beyond.
  • Maintaining professionalism in all interactions and conduct while on duty.
  • Acquiring knowledge of the menu and ingredients to make informed recommendations to guests.
  • Ensuring that food is served at the appropriate temperature.
  • Promoting daily specials and premium side dishes.
  • Effectively communicating with the Food and Beverage production team regarding orders and guest requests.
  • Performing efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  • Processing transactions accurately and managing the point of sale system proficiently.
  • Addressing guest complaints or issues promptly, or directing them to a supervisor or manager as necessary.
  • Ensuring all supplies are adequately stocked prior to the start of each shift.
  • Preparing tables in advance of guest arrivals.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work on weekends.
  • Flexibility to work in both Stoney's and Market outlets.
  • A diploma or degree in hospitality is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada on a full-time basis.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience with restaurant point of sale systems is beneficial.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
