This position is situated within a department store, where teamwork and customer interaction are key.

Key Responsibilities
  • Package purchases for customers, preparing items for shipment or delivery.
  • Assist customers by transporting their purchases to their vehicles.
  • Retrieve items from shelves or stockrooms as requested by customers.
  • Guide customers to the locations of desired products.
  • Unpack and organize incoming stock, ensuring accurate counting and sorting.
  • Maintain an up-to-date computerized inventory system.
  • Restock shelves and display areas to ensure product availability.
  • Keep the stock area tidy and organized.
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and provide product information.
  • Assist in the visual presentation of merchandise.
Physical and Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced work environment with the ability to manage pressure.
  • Meet tight deadlines while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Handle heavy loads and engage in physically demanding activities.
  • Attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling are expected.
Experience Requirements
  • Preferred experience of 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
