Job Title: Distribution Manager

The Distribution Manager is a key role within the Pharmascience organization, responsible for leading all activities related to distribution at the Dorval site. This includes managing the receiving, replenishment, shipping, and customer returns processes for both the Canadian and International markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the integrity of the Distribution Center's inventory and ensure accuracy of 3PL partner inventory.
  • Develop and maintain an environment that meets quality requirements and ensures compliance with GMP regulations.
  • Implement corrective measures to reach operational objectives and maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and develop new methods to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary projects and provide expertise as required.
  • Plan financial and human resources effectively to achieve objectives.
Health and Safety:
  • Participate in the health and safety committee and related activities.
  • Identify needs, issues, and action plans to maintain a safe environment.
  • Enforce company and CNESST regulations and suggest improvement measures.
Employee Management:
  • Hire staff under authority, manage, and evaluate their performance.
  • Develop team potential and versatility.
  • Identify training needs and develop training plans.
  • Communicate operational results and motivate employees to achieve results.
Working Conditions:
  • 80% office environment
  • 20% warehouse
  • Occasional travel for customer, supplier, or training purposes
Requirements:
  • French and English (spoken and written)
  • Highly developed situational leadership
  • Ability to react in a crisis situation
  • Knowledge of SAP environment and Microsoft Office
