* Inspect and service a diverse fleet of construction equipment, including earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, and aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts, and scissor lifts
* Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and make required repairs
* Test repaired equipment for proper performance
* Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders in a thorough and timely manner
* Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies

* At least 4 years of relevant mechanical experience, preferably working on construction equipment
* Registered 4th year apprentice, or journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification is required
* Must have a complete set of tools (or be working on building a complete toolset)
* Must be willing to work overtime as required
* Understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools
* Working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors
* Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner
* Self-starter and highly motivated to learn
