Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food and beverages meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess stock.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly.
    • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, ensuring that all customers receive excellent service.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and staff performance.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies, ensuring that all expenses are accurately accounted for.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service management role
    • Permanent employment
    • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
