We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatcher to join our Dryvan Division. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for effectively managing all aspects of dispatching, ensuring efficient and timely movements for our valued clients.
Your primary focus will be on acting as a primary point of contact for a designated portfolio of customers, skillfully negotiating, booking, and coordinating movements, and collaborating closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless execution of dispatch.
You will also be responsible for providing comprehensive and satisfactory responses to customer inquiries related to dispatch, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for a designated portfolio of customers within the Dryvan Division.
- Negotiate, book, and coordinate movements, including managing the dispatching of trucks for optimal scheduling and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations team to ensure the seamless execution of dispatch.
- Provide comprehensive and satisfactory responses to customer inquiries related to dispatch.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Dispatcher.
- Familiarity with TMW (Transportation Management System) considered an asset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
