About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Specialist to join our team at WE PLANET EARTH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Communication Strategies

Design and implement communication plans to engage with stakeholders, donors, and the general public to raise awareness and support for our organization.

Implement Communication Strategies and Programs

Develop and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and programs to meet our revenue goals and objectives.

Produce Educational and Publicity Materials

Design and create educational and publicity materials, such as brochures, reports, and social media content, to promote our organization and its mission.

Act as Spokesperson

Represent WE PLANET EARTH in a professional and effective manner, responding to media inquiries and providing information to the public.

Answer Written and Oral Inquiries

Respond to written and oral inquiries from donors, stakeholders, and the general public in a timely and professional manner.

Gather, Research, and Prepare Communications Material

Research and gather information to develop compelling communications materials, such as case studies, success stories, and impact reports.

Prepare and/or Deliver Educational, Publicity, and Information Programs

Develop and deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, such as workshops, webinars, and presentations, to engage stakeholders and promote our organization.

Develop Marketing Strategies

Design and implement marketing strategies to promote our organization and its mission, including social media, email marketing, and advertising.

Requirements
  • Education

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.

Experience

Will train and develop the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.

Computer and Technology Knowledge

Proficient in using tablet computers and other digital tools to perform job duties.

Area of Specialization

Fundraising and development.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in an urban area and travel as required.

Personal Suitability

Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, and ability to work as part of a team.
