Join Our Team as a Community Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Occupational Therapist to join our team at KARP Rehabilitation, a division of Lifemark Health Group. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will work with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in the Fraser Valley region.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work in a community-based setting, providing occupational therapy services to patients with a range of conditions, including acute trauma, concussion/brain injury, orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in the community, including assessments, goal setting, and interventions
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Conduct job demands analyses and develop gradual return-to-work plans to support patients in their recovery
  • Participate in internal training opportunities, including coaching and on-site mentorship, to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Good communication and report writing skills
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
