The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a Marketing Associate, you will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive business growth and success. You will work closely with our experienced Marketing leader to manage a category portfolio and provide category reporting and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in CPG marketing and work with a talented team of professionals.

This role requires a strong understanding of marketing principles, data analysis, and project management. You will be responsible for analyzing brands, market, and competitive trends and recommending suitable actions. You will also lead the commercialization of new product innovations and work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful launches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive business growth and success.
  • Manage a category portfolio and provide category reporting and analysis.
  • Analyze brands, market, and competitive trends and recommend suitable actions.
  • Lead the commercialization of new product innovations and work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful launches.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Sales and Brand teams to grow MLF branded share in their category.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Business or Marketing.
  • 1-3 years previous experience in marketing, sales, advertising, finance, category management or analytics roles within consumer packaged goods or grocery industry.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, data analysis, and project management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
