At UW Mississauga, we are seeking a dedicated full-time Brand Ambassador to collaborate with our Promotional Advertising division. The primary objective is to enhance brand recognition and visibility for our clients, ultimately driving profitability.

Ideal candidates will have diverse backgrounds and interests in:

  • Event Coordination
  • Customer Service and Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence sales outcomes by participating in brand development and implementing in-store lead generation strategies and event marketing.
  • Manage on-site event marketing and lead generation projects from inception to completion for some of the most recognized brands in North America.
  • Generate enthusiasm around in-store marketing and sales activities to enhance consumer awareness of retailer brands and services.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and product knowledge to patrons regarding the brands and services being promoted.
  • Assess and determine customer eligibility for promotions being offered (comprehensive training will be provided).

Requirements for Brand Ambassador:

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, events, sales, or a retail-related environment is advantageous. Internship experience and prior roles will also be recognized as relevant experience.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals.
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Self-driven and focused on achieving results.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to follow a schedule.
  • A positive demeanor and a willingness to learn.
  • Effective planning and prioritization skills.
