About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Living Water Resorts. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Room Assignment: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure accurate room inventory.
  • Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Guest Services: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures, and perform clerical duties as needed.
  • Customer Service: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Multi-line switchboard experience.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and ability to work as part of a team.
