Position Overview

Join Amps Powerline as a Skilled Construction Electrician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of electrical systems in various construction settings.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in electrical work.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the field is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Primarily outdoors.
  • Work may involve heights.
Job Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain electrical control systems and panel boxes.
  • Repair and replace existing electrical controls and panel boxes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service with professionalism.
  • Install underground wiring and cabling systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Design and implement single-phase service for various installations.
  • Splice, join, and connect electrical wires.
  • Conduct tests to measure voltage, loads, and circuit integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate electrical faults effectively.
  • Install surface-mounted and overhead cabling.
  • Mentor and instruct apprentices in the field.
  • Set up power generation and conditioning systems.
  • Ground and bond electrical systems, including pools and hot tubs.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications accurately.
  • Commission electrical systems and components.
Certifications
  • Possession of Electrician Trade Certification is required.
