About the Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Quebec City, Montreal, or Edmonton. As a key member of our Canada Energy team, you'll work on a wide range of projects, from conceptual studies to detailed engineering and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and BESS;
  • Perform detailed engineering work for high-voltage and medium-voltage electrical substations;
  • Prepare technical specifications for the acquisition of electrical equipment;
  • Conduct power system studies, including short-circuit, power flow, and cable ampacity analysis;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of our renewable energy practice.
Requirements
  • Professional certification in electrical engineering recognized in at least one Canadian province;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in renewable energy projects design, including solar, wind, and BESS;
  • Proficiency in design software such as ETAP, Easy Power, Cymcap, PSCAD, PSS/E, CDEGS, and WinIGS;
  • Experience in designing high-voltage substations and medium-voltage power collection systems;
  • Knowledge of industry standards and interconnection requirements on different Canadian networks;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
