As a Safety and Training Supervisor at CB Canada, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of safety training programs for transportation personnel. This includes designing and delivering initial and recurrent training programs, supervising driver trainers, and providing on-going training and performance evaluations for all Driver employees.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Develop and implement safety training programs that meet or exceed industry standards
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of driver trainers and Driver employees
  • Administer and maintain Company random drug/alcohol testing and pre-employment drug/alcohol testing program
  • Investigate customer service complaints relative to safety issues and take appropriate corrective action

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
  • 3 years of experience as a Trainer in the school bus transportation industry, with supervisory experience preferred
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Office Software and transportation related software
  • Strong organizational and group presentation skills, with the ability to provide direction, coaching and mentoring to employees
  • Ability to respond to unanticipated events to ensure excellence in customer service
