Position Overview
The Service and Repair Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations within the organization. This position involves identifying potential safety hazards and implementing immediate corrective actions to maintain a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute assigned safety projects and initiatives.

• Collaborate in the assessment, modification, and creation of safety protocols.

• Manage chemical safety protocols, including Safety Data Sheets and waste disposal procedures.

• Engage in incident investigations to determine root causes and preventive measures.

• Conduct facility inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks.

• Lead monthly safety committee meetings to discuss ongoing safety concerns.

• Ensure compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.

• Organize and monitor in-person safety training sessions.

• Assist in ergonomic evaluations, HAZMAT management, and fire safety planning.

• Contribute to the development of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) training programs and deliver training as required.

• Monitor employee adherence to safe work practices and procedures.

• Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents and propose recommendations for enhancements.

• Maintain safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and automated external defibrillators (AEDs).

• Educate staff on safe operational practices and emergency response protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in generating safety reports.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Forms).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.

Educational Background and Experience

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Preferred 1-3 years of experience in a safety-related role.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Work is conducted in both clean room and office settings.

• The role may require prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

• The Service and Repair Administrator must be adept at using computers or touch screens for data entry.

• Occasional lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 25 lbs may be necessary.
