Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Inspector to join our team in Port Alberni, BC. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Manufacturing and be responsible for inspecting incoming/outgoing parts, materials, and services for conformance to technical data and releasing product to aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all manufacturing inspection activities are performed in accordance with the manufacturing manual and AS9100 SOPs.
- Maintain a high level of general safety in the workplace.
- Interpret and understand internal and external technical drawings and associated industry standards such as MIL and AMS.
- Utilize strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure part accuracy and paperwork accuracy.
- Operate hand measuring tools and demonstrate proficiency in the use of CMM.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and Safety program.
- Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
- Exhibit a strong ethical work attitude and aptitude in identifying conformance and/or nonconformance of manufactured parts.
Requirements
- Industry-related experience of 2 years or other relevant experience.
- Strong computer technical aptitude.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical data.
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M, S, or E certification.
