Airport Security Specialist

About the Role

As a Pre-Board Screening Officer with GardaWorld, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public. Your responsibilities will include screening travellers and their belongings, ensuring non-permitted items do not enter the secure area, controlling access to restricted areas, responding to alarms and reporting any events or violations, and participating in emergency operations within the airport.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident, have a high school diploma or equivalent, have a clean criminal record, be eligible for a RAIC (security clearance), be 18 years of age or older, and have French verbal and written skills. You must also be located near Val-d'Or or willing to relocate before starting.
