About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our Infrastructure Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of our users and customers. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration with our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration with products and services
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce errors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
