Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We're looking for a seasoned Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team in Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining our managed services production environment, ensuring operational excellence, and driving reliability and scalability improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy telemetry to monitor system health and performance.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and work closely with our engineering teams to create roadmaps and execute solutions.
  • Improve the reliability and operability of our managed services through software engineering.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing environments, including incident management, code upgrades, health checks, and optimization projects.
  • Advise clients on API best practices for creating middleware during integration.
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to resolve client issues and drive customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in deploying, integrating, and maintaining products in complex environments and organizations.
  • 2-5 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience in a client-facing role with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience maintaining high availability in remote production environments and familiarity with VDIs and virtualization technologies.
  • Proven experience in various DevOps build and testing processes, releases management, and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong knowledge of modern DevOps tooling, including Linux, Kubernetes, RedHat Openshift, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Python, GoLang, YAML, and Bash/shell scripting.
  • Experience maintaining production environments in a managed service or SaaS environment.
  • Eager to learn, highly focused on team results-oriented.
