About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our Infrastructure Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, including our private and public cloud environments. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our infrastructure is aligned with our business needs and that we are leveraging the latest technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure deployment and management
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure alignment with business needs
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure high uptime and performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes
  • Strong scripting skills, including Python and Bash
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
