Senior Manager, Financial Risk Management

As a Senior Manager, Financial Risk Management, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management and oversight of the High-Risk Customer, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and Head of International Organization (HIO) Programs at TD.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee the in-line Quality Control function to conduct testing of controls and processes related to the High-Risk Customer, PEPs, and HIO Programs.
- Report to the Associate Vice President (AVP), Head of Canada Risk Customer, PEPs, and HIO Programs, and support the AVP with the management and oversight of the Program.
- Design, implement, and manage end-to-end QC processes for the review of high-risk customers, PEPs, and HIOs who were subjected to Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
- Oversee a team of Group Managers and AML Financial Crime Risk Senior Investigators (Quality Control) and AML Financial Crime Investigators (Quality Control) who conduct testing over the controls and processes relating to the High-Risk Customer, PEPs, and HIO Program.
- Ensure investigations, regulatory reporting, initial and periodic reviews of high-risk customers, PEPs, and HIOs are risk-assessed, reviewed, and assigned on a risk-based prioritization approach and timely manner in accordance with prescribed timelines, internal controls, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage control activities of the High-Risk Customer, PEP, and HIOs QC Programs, as well as mitigation of risk such as recommendation to demarket/exit relationships, timely and/or without delay regulatory reporting of potential money laundering and terrorist financing activities.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of experience in risk management and compliance.
