**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Risk Officer to join our team at Questrade Financial Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ensuring that our risk management practices are aligned with our business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive RMF that sets an appropriate balance of risk and reward for the organization.
  • Lead the creation, review, and implementation of risk and control oversight and reporting processes.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the organization through the development and implementation of risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish strategic interactions with key stakeholders, including the Chief Credit Officer, Head of Internal Audit, and Enterprise Risk Management team.
  • Ensure that lines of business adequately identify, measure, manage, monitor, and report all key risks.
  • Provide risk reporting and updates to the Board, Executive, and QFG Risk Management group.
  • Lead and participate in key risk management committees, including the Enterprise Risk Management Committee (ERMC) and the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for OSFI's supervision of the organization.
  • Lead and manage the Risk Management team effectively.

**Requirements**

  • Senior level risk management experience within an OSFI regulated financial institution or in an advisory/consulting practice for such an organization.
  • Strong knowledge of credit, market, liquidity, operational (with an emphasis on third-party risk management) frameworks and sound practices.
  • Strong knowledge of OSFI regulations and risk management principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to use knowledge of internal and external influences to ensure robust risk management in a responsive and agile environment.
