Fraser Health is seeking a part-time palliative care physician to join our multidisciplinary team in Burnaby, B.C. This is an exciting opportunity to provide clinical service and consultation services to patients in our Palliative Complex Care Unit and community-based settings.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in palliative medicine and a Certificate of Added Competence (CAC) through the College of Family Physicians of Canada. They will work alongside other palliative care physicians to provide Most Responsible Provider (MRP) coverage and consultation services to acute care and community-based patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical service in our Palliative Complex Care Unit and community-based settings
- Consult with acute care and community-based patients
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- One year enhanced skills residency and acquired the Certificate of Added Competence (CAC) through the College of Family Physicians of Canada
- Two year Royal College subspecialty in Palliative Medicine
