Palliative Medicine Specialist Role

Our team at Fraser Health Authority is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Medicine Specialist to join our team of medical professionals. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient rounds and assessments under the supervision of the Attending Physician.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with the Attending Physician.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of palliative care in our organization.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a medical degree from a recognized institution and have completed a minimum of two years of postgraduate training in a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. The candidate must also be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia in the Associate Physician class.
