Pizza Cook Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Cook Specialist to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook pizzas and other menu items to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and safe, and that all health and safety regulations are met.
- Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Cultural Competency: Provide cultural competency training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for employees from diverse backgrounds.
- Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair new employees with experienced employees to support their integration into the team.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in a kitchen environment is an asset.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
